Welcome to the BCBU

This inter-disciplinary portal plans to host all research activities carried out in the fields of Computational genomics & proteomics, Methods and tools in Bio-molecular structure prediction etc. Interdisciplinary work and collaborations carried across the campus in other fields including gene and protein micro-arrays, annotation and curation of public databases in molecular biology will also be hosted on this site. The site also hopes to become a portal for all the Research teams and Groups in Bioinformatics at Georgetown University. With the recently proposed introduction of advanced degree courses in Computational biosciences and Bioinformatics, the site also plans to host curricula and syllabi for the students undertaking these courses.
