Internship

Students will participate in an enriching 16-week internship with bioinformatics experts at Georgetown University or bioinformatics, biomedical and biotechnology institutions in the Washington DC area, including:

  • National Institute of Health (NIH), such as NCI, CBIIT, & NCBI
  • The J Craig Venter Institute (formerly TIGR)
  • Children’s National Medical Center
  • Center for Advanced Research in Biotechnology (CARB)
  • National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST)
  • Local biotechnology companies
