Students participate in an enriching 16-week internship with experts at Georgetown University or at one of the many bioinformatics, biomedical and biotechnology institutions in the Washington, D.C., area, such as:
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), including the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Center for Biomedical Informatics & Information Technology (CBIIT), and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)
